Concordia Area Repair Patterns

Older Concordia area slabs typically show the accumulated freeze-thaw damage of many decades: extensive hairline crack networks, perimeter spalling, surface scaling from chloride attack. Newer slabs have less accumulated damage but still benefit from structural prep before coating to ensure the system bonds reliably. Loess subgrade settlement is a recurring factor on the newer streets where the wind-deposited silt produces variable subsurface support.

Structural epoxy injection bonds hairline cracks. Polyurea fill addresses wider cracks with seasonal movement. Spalled areas are profiled back to sound concrete and rebuilt with structural patching compound. The free on-site assessment scopes the specific work before any commitment.

Vapor Considerations

Properties in the Concordia area generally do not have elevated vapor emission concerns relative to the river-flat or Plum Creek corridor zones, but vapor evaluation is included in every assessment to confirm conditions before specification. Where elevated vapor is identified, primer chemistry accounts for it.
